In 1980, Barbour produced his first short and light jacket, La Bedale. Originally designed to ride a horse, the Bedale is the favorite of many British, from royalty to pop icons. Dame Margaret Barbour designed the Bedale taking into account the equestrian practical aspects: with a shorter length, a loose adjustment, ventilations rear and the 'drip strip' essential nylon that provided moisture resistance of the horses that leaked in the jacket. Made with a medium -weight waxed cotton of 6 oz and totally interactive with optional hoods and thermal linings. Two roads with ring shooter and a front with Stormfly studs, two large bellows pockets and two pockets to heat your hands lined with mole skin, and the traditional corduroy neck with studs for a hidden adjustment.
